- Description: Latin name: Tetrix subulata. This species is usually found only in southern half of UK but this find is very unusual to be so far north but with a few others having also been found within the Cairngorm National Park recently also on threatened sites it indicates that there may well be a previously unknown northern population living there and therefore should be taken very seriously in terms of conservation importance.
