Illustrated Talk by Dr David Hetherington ‘The Feasibility of Reintroducing the Lynx to Scotland’
In Talla nan Ros, King Street, Kingussie Tuesday 28th March 7.30 pm. All welcome. Following the success of his talk at Nethybridge we felt it very worthwhile to repeat the meeting at the other end of the strath... David who now works for the Cairngorm National Park Authority, recently studied the history of the lynx in Britain for his PhD from Aberdeen University. During this study he made the remarkable discovery that lynx became extinct in Britain far more recently than was previously thought, and that their extinction was probably due to human impacts. To learn the rest of this fascinating story, and how it relates to the possibility of reintroducing the lynx to Scotland, come to this talk! Photo R Alterza |
